Question 1

Why is the platform named Hyperetes?

Accepted Answer

In 1 Corinthians 4:1, Paul calls ministry leaders hypēretas Christou ('servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God'). Literally, a hypēretēs (ὑπηρέτης) was an 'under-rower' on the lower deck of a ship who pulled the heavy oars so the vessel could move forward smoothly. Hyperetes is built to quietly pull the administrative oars beneath the surface so pastors and volunteers can shepherd people.

Question 2

How does Hyperetes charge 0% platform giving fees?

Accepted Answer

Under the RidgeTech Honest Software Pledge, we make our revenue transparently from your flat monthly or annual software subscription—never by skimming a percentage of your congregation's tithes. Churches connect directly to Stripe Non-Profit rates with 0% platform markup.

Question 3

Can we migrate from Planning Center, Subsplash, Breeze, Tithe.ly, or Pushpay/CCB?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hyperetes includes a 1-Click Universal CSV Migration Wizard that imports People, Households, Tags, Groups, and Historical Giving in under 15 minutes, with free concierge CSV verification included on every plan.
